Dr. Taylor Parent is a skilled general dentist that has worked at Newton Centre Dental since 2018. Born and raised in Van Buren, ME, Dr. Parent earned her bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in neuroscience and a minor in psychology from Assumption College. She then received her doctor of dental medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Parent chose dentistry because it combines art, science, and helping others while allowing her to continue learning throughout her career. Dr. Parent is passionate about dentistry and providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients of all ages. When Dr. Parent is not in the office, she cherishes time spent with her fiancé, Tim, and family and friends. She loves being active outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants, and taking in all Boston has to offer.

A+ service all around from the entire team at NCD. Dr. Parent does really great work and makes a trip to the dentist surprisingly pleasant! Maddie does the most painless cleanings I’ve ever had, with a comforting helping hand from Jenny. Always a warm greeting upon entry from Ellen, which gets the visit off to a great start!
I am a relatively new patient to Dr. Parent. I was a patient of Dr. Levitt’s for a very long time. Dr. Parent has been a wonderful dentist to me so far. I live on the south shore and it takes me close to an hour to get to my appointments. She is sensitive to this and has worked within her schedule to fit me in for unexpected dental issues that have come up. I am so appreciative of these efforts. Just this morning I was quite late for my 7:30am appointment (20 minutes!) and she graciously proceeded without uttering a word of my being so late. She is patient, kind and takes the time to deliver the best care she can and for that I am most grateful. She has been a wonderful addition to Newton Center Dental and I’m happy she’s my dentist 😊

I just had work done for a new crown after my molar broke during the weekend. Dr. Parent and her assistant Jenny were efficient, professional, very friendly, and made the experience as stress-free as possible.
Great experience at NCD. Dr. Parent was efficient in fixing my discolored tooth and I am very happy with the results.
